In a major arrest in curbing the naxal domination in Bihar’s West Champaran, wanted maoist Rambabu Ram has been arrested on May 04. The arrest was made by Bihar Police and the STF based on the received intel. The accused was arrested along with a companion where both confessed of their crimes during interrogation. Several weapons and ammo were also seized during a raid that was conducted post the interrogation. “Bihar Police along with the SIF had a major achievement. We received information about a naxalite in West Champaran who had a heavy price on his head. A team was formed and raid was done. The police arrested him along with a friend during the raid. The accused confessed of many crimes during his interrogation. Another raid was done and several ammo and weapons were seized,” Kant said.
