‘Big event’: Korean Envoy hails ‘first walking pilgrimage’ of Korean Buddhists in India
A contingent of 108 Korean Buddhists will walk more than 1,100 km and will cover prominent Buddhist sites in India and parts of Nepal on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea. Calling it the first walking pilgrimage, Korean Ambassador to India Chang Jae-bok on February 06 called it a big event. The Korean envoy also expressed his excitement to be part of such an occasion.
