Talking about the victims of the fire incident at the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao on August 12 said that all of them are stable. He also said that based on the investigation report, the government will take further action. “All are stable. There were two people who were critical but now they also have come to a stable position. All specialists are here. Allegations will be there. Who is responsible, whose fault, whether it is any fault of the BBMP in maintaining certain safety standards and whether there was any other reason why that fire started. Is it by accident or by some negligence? All those things have to be looked into. Let them investigate properly. Based on that, the government can take further action,” said Dinesh Gundu Rao.A fire broke out on August 11 around 5 PM in the premises of the BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) office in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar visited the injured in the hospital and have also ordered a probe. The CM and Deputy CM were accompanied by Cabinet Minister Ramalinga Reddy and others while they visited Victoria Hospital where those injured in the incident were under treatment. They also visited the incident spot.
