Assam: 5 Rohingyas deported to Myanmar after five years in jail

The Assam police deported five Rohingya’s on January 3 to Myanmar. The Rohingyas were arrested in 2013 by the Assam police and were kept in Tezpur Central Jail. They were deported through the Immigration Check Point office near the Indo-Myanmar friendship bridge back to Myanmar.
