'Ashar Pandhra Mahotsav' highlights Sikkim's rich cultural heritage

To celebrate the essence of cultivation, people especially the farming community in Sikkim gathered on the auspicious day. 'Ashar Pandhra' is celebrated to mark the beginning of rice plantation season and people offer prayers for fruitful harvest.
