Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 16 virtually distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to recruits in different government departments. Union Ministers reached several locations to provide the recruits with their letters. Union Minister Smriti Irani reached Lucknow for the same. She said, “I have come here in Lucknow to give appointment letters to the recruits in 334 different departments. These include departments like postal services, Indian railways, Geological Survey of India and others. We are distributing appointment letters to more than 71,000 recruits in more than 34 locations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged that the government would provide 10 lakh jobs to the youth. Fulfilling that promise, appointment letters are being distributed today.”
