BJP’s claim on Karnataka Finance Department and BJP IT Department’s head Amit Malviya’s tweet on ‘Revdi politics’ has invited backlash from the ruling Congress leaders. While reacting to the reporters, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge said that Amit Malviya should first find out what his government is doing and then say something.“Amit Malviya should first figure out what all revdis his government is giving. In Madhya Pradesh, CM has announced free electric scooters for 12 standard students who have passed the exam with distinction. That is not Revdi? Here we are trying to empower people economically. Why is BJP allergic to any kind of empowerment of women and downtrodden? Amit Malviya should first find out what his government is doing and then say something about Karnataka,” said Priyanka Kharge. “Let him wait for some time. August 15 is the deadline to implement our manifesto. Let them have patience,” said Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy.Posting a copy of the purported letter of the state finance department on Twitter, Amit Malviya earlier said, “Revdi politics is bleeding Karnataka already.”
