NDRF IG Narendra Singh Bundela has announced the withdrawal of all nine teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from the Balasore train accident site. Following the horrific train collision, these teams were actively involved in the rescue and relief operations. The decision to withdraw them suggests that the immediate crisis has been addressed, and the site is now deemed secure and stable. However, ongoing investigations and necessary follow-up measures are expected to continue as authorities work towards understanding the causes and preventing similar incidents in the future. The Balasore train accident where two passenger trains and a goods carriage were involved claimed over 280 lives so far while over 1,000 people sustained injuries.
