The “Tik Tok” hitmaker objected after a February 10 post from the White House used her music in a dramatic video titled “Lethality,” showing a jet launching a missile at an apparent enemy ship. Kesha joins a growing list of artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, The Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, Radiohead, Sabrina Carpenter, and the estate of Isaac Hayes, who have pushed back against Donald Trump and the MAGA movement using their songs at rallies and in campaign-style content.
