After ‘Padmavati’, now Bengali film ‘Rongberonger Korhi’ in the eye of a storm

After Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’,
now another film is under the radar of fringe groups. Protest has already begun
against Ranjan Ghosh's 'Rongberonger Korhi' - a film that has an element of
demonetisation and also a controversial plotline involving two characters
called Ram and Sita. An email by a Hindu rights activist asking the local
Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) not to hear the divorce plea of
Ram-Sita in 'Rongberonger Korhi' has thrown up a fresh challenge.
