In an emotional message, Afghan senator Dr Anarkali Kaur Honaryar has thanked PM Narendra Modi and Indian authorities for the evacuation and for saving her life. An Indian Air Force (IAF) evacuation flight landed at the Hindon airbase with 168 evacuees from Kabul. With the flight two Afghan Sikh senators Narender Singh Khalsa and Dr Anarkali Kaur Honaryar reached India from Kabul.
