Two Pakistani nationals, who were lodged in Indian jails were sent back home through the Atari border on August 27. One of them, a juvenile, was arrested for illegally crossing the international border. Another Pakistani national was arrested for overstaying in India. They were handed over to the Pakistani Rangers at the Attari-Wagah border. Speaking to ANI, Protocol Officer Arunpal Singh said, “The Pakistani prisoners, one languishing in a juvenile centre in Barmer and other in the central jail in Gwalior were sent back to their country (on completion of the jail term).”
