With the onset of Monsoon as many as 43 cases of malaria were registered till the month of August. Cases of vector-borne diseases are usually reported between July and September and this time the period may stretch till November. A senior doctor at a hospital said that both Malaria and Dengue have different carriers; hence there have been more reports about them. During an exclusive conversation with E Times, he advised people to take precautions, like wearing full-sleeve clothes and not allowing the breeding of mosquito larvae inside homes.
