‘WHY HOST U.S. BASES?’: Russia Slams Arab Nations; Putin Aide Reminds Gulf Of DC's 'Unreliability'

Russian President Vladimir Putin's close aide Dmitry Medvedev has slammed the Gulf nations for allowing the United States to use their soil to build its military bases. In an X post, Medvedev claimed that U.S. bases in the Middle East are a threat. Earlier. Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said that all those suffering from what he called "U.S. and Israeli aggression" were Moscow's strategic partners. The development comes amid an explosive U.S. media report which claims that Moscow is secretly providing Iran with intelligence on the locations of American warships and aircraft in the Middle East.
