Iran has fired back at Donald Trump after the U.S. President claimed the war in the Middle East could end soon. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Washington cannot decide when the conflict will end, declaring that only Iran’s armed forces will determine the future of the war. Tehran also issued a major threat to global energy supplies, warning it will not allow “one litre of oil” to leave the region if U.S. and Israeli strikes continue.
