Slovak PM Robert Fico accused the West of using Ukraine to weaken Russia, calling the plan a failure. He warned Ukraine’s leadership will pay a heavy price for backing this approach. Fico declared that Ukraine’s NATO membership is impossible and sees no military solution. His remarks come ahead of the crucial Putin-Trump summit on August 15 in Alaska.
