US President Joe Biden took the knee in a photo op with the NBA team Golden State Warriors. The champion side was invited to the White House by President Biden. However, vice-president Kamala Harris refused to take the knee. In the video, she is heard saying, ‘I’m not doing that’. Sportspersons of colour have often taken the knee as a gesture against racism in US society. Golden State Warriors had refused invitation to the White House by former President Trump.
