US Signals NATO Military Pullback As Europe Braces For Smaller American War Commitment

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing to reduce the military capabilities the United States would make available to NATO during a major conflict. Reuters says the Pentagon plans to significantly scale down wartime commitments under the NATO Force Model. The move could be revealed at a Brussels meeting and comes amid troop reductions in Germany and cancelled rotations to Poland. European allies remain deeply dependent on American military assets.
