US Seeks Ukraine's Help To Tackle Iranian Shahed Drones After Bases Suffer Strikes in Middle East

A year ago Trump mocked Zelensky in the Oval Office. Now Washington has formally asked Kyiv for help defending against Iranian Shahed drones in the Middle East. Zelensky confirmed the request and said Ukrainian specialists would be deployed. Iran's Shahed costs $20,000 to build. The US interceptors used to destroy them cost millions and Iran is launching them in mass waves daily. Over 2,150 interceptions have been confirmed across the Gulf. Ukraine, which has been shooting down Shahed variants for years, has the cheap-kill knowledge America never built. The US also reverse-engineered the Shahed into its own LUCAS drone and used it offensively against Iran. It simply forgot to prepare a defence.
