US Secy of State Mike Pompeo welcomes India's ban on Chinese apps

US secretary of state Mike Pompeo on Wednesday lauded India's ban on Chinese Apps, saying it will boost the country’s integrity and security. "India's clean app approach will boost India's sovereignty and boost integrity and national security," he said. The Centre has banned 59 Chinese Apps including TikTok and UC Browser. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has quit Chinese social media platform. Amid tension with China on the border, the Centre has taken several stern decisions against Chinese companies.
