US Coast Guard rescues man after cruise ship fall

A US Coast Guard helicopter rescued a man who was reported to have fallen overboard from a cruise ship into the Gulf of Mexico about 20 miles (32 kilometers) off Southwest Pass, Louisiana on Thanksgiving Day. New Orleans television station WDSU said that the man was reported missing from the Carnival Valor about 2:30 pm on Wednesday.
