US blizzard: Storms strand thousands at San Diego airport

Hundreds of flights were delayed or cancelled at San Diego International Airport Sunday, due to winter storms elsewhere in the US. Thousands of people were waiting at the airport to be rebooked or to find their luggage in piles in between carousels. Some 2,085 domestic and international flights were cancelled on Monday as of about noon EDT, according to the tracking site FlightAware.
