Ukraine's Land Forces Commander Steps Down After Deadly Russian Strike Kills 12 Soldiers
A top Ukrainian commander has resigned as head of Land Forces after 12 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in a Russian missile attack on a training camp in Dnipro region. Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi in a Telegram post took responsibility for the fatalities in the attack, saying he was "unable to fully ensure the execution" of his orders. "Mutual cover-ups and impunity are poison for the army," Drapatyi added.
