Twitter to let staff work from home permanently
Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey told employees Tuesday that they can work from home permanently, even after the coronavirus pandemic ends. Most Twitter employees at the company's San Francisco headquarters have been working from home for the last two months. Many technology companies embraced stay-at-home policies early on, saying most of their workers can do their jobs remotely. Companies can save money and help employee morale by allowing them to work from home if they choose. It's a perk that could help attract top talent to companies which allow working from home and expects the trend to continue to grow in the tech industry. Other big tech companies like Facebook and Google have also been working remotely as they prepare to move back to offices amid the pandemic. Both are allowing employees to work from home until the end of 2020.
