Turkey Syria Earthquake: Baby born under quake rubble 'doing well'
A newborn baby girl who was discovered under the rubble of a building in a northwestern Syrian town earlier this week with her umbilical cord still connected to her mother, is improving in hospital and has been named Aya, the doctor treating her said Thursday. Aya is the only survivor in her family after her parents and four siblings were killed in Monday's 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria.
