A new war of words has erupted between U.S. President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after Canada’s ice hockey victory over the U.S. Trump, responding to Canadian fans booing the U.S. national anthem, joked about making Canada the 51st state, saying he’d “keep ‘O Canada’” as a state anthem. Trudeau fired back on social media, declaring, “You can’t take our country or our game.” The tensions come amid ongoing trade disputes, with Trump threatening tariffs on Canadian industries.
