'They Were Coming To Hit Us': Cuba Confirms Striking American Boat; 4 Armed Men Killed Aboard Vessel

Cuba has revealed new details about the deadly speedboat shootout off its northern coast, saying the four people killed and six injured were Cuban nationals living in the United States. Authorities say the Florida-registered vessel was carrying 10 armed individuals allegedly attempting a “terrorist infiltration,” with weapons including assault rifles, handguns and Molotov cocktails recovered from the boat. Officials say seven of those on board have been identified while three remain unknown, and an additional suspect was arrested on land for allegedly coordinating the operation. Cuban authorities claim several of the suspects had histories of criminal or violent activity, though some details have not been independently verified.
