Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy has become the second Indian American after Nikki Haley to announce a Presidential bid for 2024. Both Haley and Ramaswamy will be up against Trump for the Republican ticket. In his campaign video, Ramaswamy sats that he is "launching not only a political campaign but a cultural movement to create a new American Dream—one that is not only about money but about the unapologetic pursuit of excellence.” Trump was the first candidate to announce his bid and remains popular with some sections of voters. However, a huge section of Republican voters feel that it will be difficult to win over the White House with Trump. The contest remains open and about half a dozen more candidates are likely to announce bids for the Republican ticket. Vivek Ramaswamy shared this campaign video on his Twitter handle.
