Russia Retakes 64% Kursk Areas From Ukraine; Big Win After Putin Announces Sumy Invasion

Russia has claimed significant territorial gains in the Kursk region, asserting it has recaptured 64% of previously lost land. Moscow reports 800 sq km of Ukrainian-held territory has been "liberated," with 500 sq km still under Kyiv’s control. This comes after Putin’s announcement of a new offensive, which Ukraine has dismissed as propaganda. Meanwhile, Russia states it now holds the initiative on multiple fronts, including Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
