Rep. Jordan defends Trump amid indictment reports

Air defense systems in Saudi Arabia intercepted 37 drones over the kingdom’s eastern region within a short span, according to the Saudi Ministry of Defence, triggering a major security alert. The interceptions come amid the ongoing war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, with Gulf states increasingly caught in the crossfire. Saudi Arabia has faced a surge in aerial threats in recent days. Meanwhile, Alireza Enayati, Iran’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, denied Tehran’s involvement in attacks on the kingdom’s oil infrastructure, including the Ras Tanura Refinery and attempted drone strikes on the Shaybah Oil Field. He insisted Iran is only targeting U.S. and Israeli military interests during the conflict. Kuwait also reported intercepting drones as well, after one struck the Ali Al Salem Air Base, damaging facilities used by an Italian task force. With more than 2,000 missile and drone attacks reported across the region since the war began on February 28, fears are mounting that the conflict could expand into a wider regional confrontation.
