Putin's Drones 'Rattle' Zelensky: Kyiv Govt Office Burns 'Due To Self-hit,' Ukraine Blames Russia
Ukraine has been hit by the largest Russian drone and missile assault since the war began. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that 805 drones and 13 missiles targeted multiple cities, including Kyiv, Sumy, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kryvyi Rig. For the first time, the heavily guarded government district in Kyiv was struck, with flames engulfing the Cabinet of Ministers building. Ukraine’s Air Force said nearly 60 drones and 9 missiles broke through its air defences. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko accused Russia of targeting government offices, even sharing footage from inside the damaged building. Moscow, however, denied responsibility, claiming it only hit drone manufacturing and logistics sites. The scale of this strike has raised alarm worldwide, with Zelensky urging global leaders to respond with stronger sanctions and restrictions on Russia.
