A devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake has struck Myanmar, with the death toll soaring past 1,000. Reports confirm at least 1,002 fatalities and nearly 2,500 injuries, with dozens still missing. Rescue teams are digging through the rubble in a desperate search for survivors. The worst-hit area is around Mandalay, where homes, monasteries, and schools have been severely damaged.
