Iranian media outlets insist the situation remains “calm and normal,” even as reports of explosions near the strategic port city triggered global concern. Iranian state-linked outlets including SNN TV, IRNA, Mehr News Agency, Tasnim, Fars, and Press TV pushed back strongly against the U.S. operation, calling it an “unprovoked” act of aggression carried out despite the fragile ceasefire. Tehran also warned that any foreign military escalation in the Strait of Hormuz threatens global energy security and international shipping routes.
