Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has thrown down the gauntlet to the European Union, demanding a radical shift in strategy on the war in Ukraine. At a press conference with European Council President Antonio Costa, Fico declared that his government's priority is "peace and not the continuation of war," and he will Block the EU's package of sanctions on Russia.
