A frail Pope Francis makes his first public appearance in five weeks after battling a life-threatening case of double pneumonia. The pontiff offered a brief blessing from his 10th-floor papal suite at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital. The 88-year-old had been admitted here for the past 38 days.
