PoK: Protests in Gilgit-Baltistan against Pak govt over tax hikes

Amid the economic crisis that Pakistan is witnessing, protests erupted across Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’s Gilgit-Baltistan on January 10. The citizens took to the streets to protest against the Government over tax hikes. Pakistan is in one of the worst food crisis situations and is constantly seeking help from international monetary bodies along with some other countries.
