A passenger aircraft carrying 72 people on board crashed upon landing in Pokhara in Nepal. The rescue operations are underway and the airport has been closed for the time being. The flight had 5 Indians, 4 Russians, 1 Irish, 2 South Korean, 1 Australian, 1 French and 1 Argentinian national on board. Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called for an emergency cabinet meeting after the crash. A five-member commission of inquiry has been formed to probe the plane crash. Nepal government has also announced national mourning on Monday over the plane crash.
