Pakistan: Over 1000 killed, two lakh homes damaged in devastating flood

Around 1000 people were killed in floods in Pakistan. Pakistan's climate minister dubbed the deadly monsoon season "a serious climate catastrophe." Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority reported the death toll since the monsoon season began earlier than normal this year — in mid- June — reached 1,033 people.
