Pakistan: Imran Khan begins 'Haqeeqi Azadi Long March', demands snap polls
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) chief Imran Khan began the 'Haqeeqi Azadi Long March' from Lahore's Liberty Chowk to Islamabad. He addressed his supporters before the start of a 'long march' to Islamabad. Imran Khan is demanding snap elections in the country to get rid of the present government. He called the protests 'jihad' against 'thieves' imposed on people. Security has been tightened along the march route and in the Pakistani capital.
