On Cam: US Officer Almost Trapped In Violent Mob As Los Angeles Boils | Watch

Los Angeles has plunged into chaos as protests against ICE and Donald Trump escalate. Thousands of demonstrators shut down the 101 Freeway, while self-driving cars burned in the streets. Police responded with tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bangs. A U.S. officer was briefly trapped in a violent mob but was quickly rescued. Two thousand California National Guard troops are under federal command, with 500 Marines on standby. Governor Gavin Newsom condemned the deployment, calling it a threat to state sovereignty amid growing fear in immigrant communities.
