Several groups of Ukrainian soldiers have reportedly surrendered in the Donetsk region, marking a pivotal moment in the ongoing conflict. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the surrenders took place south of Donetsk and involved troops from the 23rd Separate Mechanised, 141st Infantry, and 110th Separate Mechanised Brigades. Many of the captured soldiers were allegedly forcibly mobilised. This development comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly preparing a large-scale revenge attack — a plan he has even communicated to U.S. President Donald Trump, intensifying global concerns.
