Marco Rubio Issues Ultimatum To Ukraine As Peace Talks With Russia Fails In Turkey

The United States is urging meaningful progress in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine following their first direct talks in three years. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that Washington does not want to see talks drag on without results, warning against endless diplomacy without substance. While acknowledging the complexity of ending a bloody conflict, Rubio stressed that the world cannot afford delays. His remarks follow a major prisoner swap agreement and a commitment by both sides to draft ceasefire proposals. Rubio made it clear that future U.S. involvement depends on the seriousness and realism of those proposals.
