Romanian President Nicusor Dan has confirmed that Romania will not send troops to Ukraine, stressing instead that the nation will support peacekeeping operations only after a ceasefire is reached. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan echoed this stance, saying NATO allies may use Romanian bases but direct involvement in combat is off the table. Moscow has already warned against any NATO presence in Ukraine, raising fears of escalation.
