London: UK PM Liz Truss gives second reading at Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral

British Prime Minister Liz Truss gave the second reading from the scripture of the Gospel of John at the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on September 19 (local time). The passage concerns Jesus Christ's promise to his followers of a place in heaven. Queen Elizabeth II has been borne at Westminster Abbey. The Royal family members and world leaders were also present to pay their last respects. She passed away on September 08.
