20 refugees from Ukraine arrived at Tokyo's International Airport on Tuesday along with Japan's Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi. The 20 evacuees, who fled from Poland on a government plane, are expected to stay in Japan for at least six months. Japan will provide further support if needed. Tokyo has previously accepted about 300 other Ukrainians, all relatives of about 2,000 Ukrainian residents in Japan who arrived on their own since the Russian invasion began.
