The police headquarters in Iran’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan have announced that an armed attack on a police station in the Sarbaz county of the province was foiled, according to Iranian state media. Armed “terrorists” belonging to the Jaish al-Adl separatist group stormed the station but had to flee after receiving a “decisive response” from police. Search is under way to capture the attackers, police said.
