The Wall Street Journal has reported that Iran has ordered tonnes of fuel to make some 800 ballistic missiles from China. Ammonium Perchlorate is a key ingredient for ballistic missile fuel. The shipments are reportedly due in the coming days. Some of the material is likely to be provided to Iran-aligned rebel groups like the Houthis in Yemen. The order comes at a time when the U.S. is trying to negotiate a deal on Nuclear program in Iran and after Donald Trump asked Benjamin Netanyahu to stand down from attacking Iranian nuclear sites.
