Iran Executes Alleged CIA, Mossad Spies Accused of Plotting Attack Amid Raging War
Iran has carried out fresh executions amid its widening internal crackdown, putting two men to death over alleged links to a US- and Israel-backed opposition network. The accused were reportedly affiliated with the People's Mojahedin Organisation of Iran and were suspected of planning armed attacks in the capital, Tehran. According to Iran’s judiciary outlet Mizan News Agency, the individuals were preparing to use improvised launcher devices to carry out the attacks. The executions come as Tehran intensifies its campaign against alleged internal threats amid escalating tensions with the United States and Israel.
