Lorestan has recorded the highest concentration of drone downings in the conflict, with up to three UAVs brought down in a single day at its peak. The Qom intercept is significant given its proximity to strategic nuclear sites. Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defence Base has been coordinating the interceptions using surface-to-air systems, fighter jets and IRGC units. The IDF has acknowledged losing at least one Hermes drone.
