'Team India': PM Modi Meets With CMs, Urges Covid-Like Coordination Amid West Asia Crisis
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors to assess readiness amid the West Asia situation and its possible impact on India. He highlighted the need to protect economic and trade stability, ensure energy availability, and keep supply chains strong. Modi called on states to prevent hoarding, maintain smooth distribution of essentials, and plan ahead in agriculture, particularly fertiliser supply. He also stressed coordinated action and vigilance in border and coastal areas, especially regarding shipping and logistics. Emphasising the importance of accurate communication, he cautioned against rumours. Chief Ministers expressed satisfaction over adequate fuel and LPG availability and pledged continued coordination with the Centre.
