Iran Claims 'Killing' US Clone Of Shahed Drones, Shares Proof On Camera

Iran has claimed it shot down a U.S.-made LUCAS drone, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) it claims clones Tehran’s own Shahed-136 loitering munitions. Footage released by IRGC-linked Fars News Agency shows debris scattered across the ground, which Iranian officials say is from the downed aircraft. The LUCAS—short for Low-Cost Unmanned Combat Attack System—represents a newer class of long-range, low-cost drones designed for the U.S. military's autonomous strike missions and flexible launch methods.
